Ligonier High School alumni - get this into your calendar! The annual Ligonier High School Alumni Dinner is set for Sunday, Aug. 3, at the West Noble High School cafetorium. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., dinner at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. The dinner is open to anyone who attended Ligonier High School. Charger Nation, we're calling out to you! We are looking for help in collecting photos and information for a new project we are working on at West Noble High School. Our request to you is simple: We would like to know if you or someone you know were a college athlete, and if so, where did you attend, what sport, and how many years were you on the squad. While we know there are professional bowlers, fishermen, BMX riders, etc., we'd like to keep it to the 18 varsity sports offered at West Noble High School. We are also looking to gather up a list of our West Noble High School graduates who served in the military. Specifically, we are searching for branch, years served, and rank. Meanwhile, back at WNP, kindergarten students wrapped up their knowledge unit on presidents. While the first graders visited the Big House, the kindergarteners replicated the White House, sharing what they learned with their classmates in other rooms, and the students made a puppet of a president and wrote a fact about that president. Very presidential!

West Noble Primary checked in Tuesday with an all-points bulletin from the Ligonier Police Department. Students went there to learn about how the police do their job, what tools they use and how they learn. Maybe now, finally, Officer Moser will get some respect in the WNP hallways!

It worked so well for the first group, there was a guaranteed success rate for the second group! West Noble Primary sent a group of students to the Bison Ranch in Wolcottville last week, and Tuesday, sent first graders to the ranch and park to experience the joys of the wilderness. Photos do all the talking here!

The clock was ticking, but these kindergarteners at West Noble Primary had A Minute To Win It! Even Apollo Ohno would have been impressed with some of their problem solving skills!

Home, home on the range! West Noble Primary visited the Bison Ranch today and got to see where the buffalo roam. It was a full day of fun! Thanks to Sherry Cox for sharing the pics from the trip!

The final week of school is already exciting, and now it's going to get better! Next Tuesday, Turning Point's coffee trailer will be set up on the West Noble High School campus to serve drinks to students and staff! After a pair of successful stops in the Ligonier community in recent weeks, the coffee trailer will now be brought to campus for the Chargers to enjoy! Turning Point Coffee Company is the crown jewel of Turning Point's outreach mission, not just providing a premier coffee experience, but also giving back to individuals and organizations in need.
