At the West Noble School Board meeting this week, the Spotlight On Success centered on the West Noble English Learners (EL) program. WNSC curriculum director, Sarah Wilson, as well as a handful of EL instructors spoke about the success points from the previous year, and the momentum they have heading into this school year.

In recognition of 40 years of service to the West Noble School Corporation, retired educator and coach, Dale Marano, was honored at this week's WNSC School Board meeting. Marano spoke of his time at West Noble and the appreciation he has for all of the people who were part of his journey.
“We’ve been blessed all along on this journey,” began Marano. “I was blessed when (former WNHS principal) Roger (Schermerhorn) took a chance on me over 40 years ago, and I’ll never forget that. I was blessed with wonderful kids to teach throughout all those years, thousands, and too many to mention. I was blessed by (WNHS athletic director) Tom (Schermerhorn), he allowed me to coach girls basketball for 14 years.
"I guess when I sit back and reflect on everything, I have a sense of calm. I feel really, really blessed by everything, the accumulation of everything. It’s been a really wonderful journey for me, and I appreciate everyone, I appreciate the school board. It’s been a good journey for me.”

Here's an exciting opportunity for our high school boys and girls soccer programs.
Parkview Sports Medicine One is hosting the 2026 Soccer Series, and the Chargers and Lady Chargers will take on Central Noble on Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. for the girls, and 8 p.m. for the boys.
Both games will take place at the new Ruoff Mortgage Stadium on the south side of Fort Wayne.

Super exciting morning at our buildings as students and staff are back in the classrooms and ready to start their best year ever, the 2026-27 school year!
We are ready to begin, let's learn and grow together!

Round two of the Back 2 School Nights had West Noble Primary welcoming back its first graders and saying hello to its kindergartners for the first time. Spirits were high for the kids, and the parents seemed to be happy to have their little ones getting ready for Thursday. Tomorrow we'll have the Construction Twins hosting, the elementary first and the high school later in the evening.

We start our school year in two days, and are looking to have a few more join our team for the new year! Are you ready to join our team?

By all accounts, Charge Back2School was a success!
It was great seeing familiar faces and helping our community at the same time. Thank you to all of the businesses, services and volunteers that gave their time to be a part of Charge Back2School, and to the families who make the event what it is.

For those who need to reset a password, we are still having trouble with our system. The password reset link is not functional. Please be patient, we are working to get this fixed as soon as possible.

We want to give you all an update on student enrollment & registration.

We are working to open Returning Student Registration in our new Skyward portal.
Families who need to complete registration will receive an email notification from Skyward when the portal is available.
For questions concerning the status of your student's registration, please contact their school building.
We appreciate your patience.

A note as we head into the last weekend of July.
We now have all of our school supply lists updated for the 2026-27 school year. You can find them all in PDF form for your school in the respective 'WN Family Information' pages, as well as in the documents sections for each school in the same 'family information' folders, both on the WN website and on the WN app.
Some school supplies will be available at our Charge Back To School Night on Aug. 6 at WNMS, as well. If you are needing assistance, please contact any of our school offices at (260) 894-3191 and we will be happy to help get you ready for the upcoming school year!

As we get closer to the 2026-27 school year, we are starting to get our information around for our families, and that includes instructions on Meal Magic, which is the system we use for paying for school lunches. Here are our instructions, which can also be found on our website in the 'Food Services' link on the main page, and on each of the individual school pages.
We expect our building breakfast and lunch menus to be available sometime closer to the start of school, so please be patient with us as we work those out for each building.
